Ten officials from state-run Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and one of its affiliates were arrested on charges of taking bribes from a supplier in return for favors, reported The Korea Times.

The head of the supplier allegedly offered 356.9 million won ($320,000) in kickbacks to the officials from 2008 through last year in exchange for telecommunications equipment contracts with KEPCO.

The supplier was also accused of bribing a police superintendent to impede an investigation into the company.
