Engineer Convicted of Bribery Sentenced to Educating Others on Corruption

A former executive at T&M Associates in Middleton, New Jersey was sentenced Thursday to a year of house arrest and five years probation over bribery charges. He will also be required to educate others who do business with public officials on issues of corruption.

Mark Neisser’s firm, T&M Associates, made large and frequent political contributions to officials in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. T&M Associates created a contributions committee where it tracked which campaigns it had supported, and created an atmosphere in which the firm crossed the line from legal political contributions to bribery. Neisser pled guilty in 2017 to conspiracy to commit bribery. He was charged with bribing Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski and ex-Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer to get public works contracts.
