Former city of Atlanta official Mitzi Bickers has been charged in the widening bribery scandal at Atlanta City Hall.

In a March 27 criminal indictment that was unsealed on Wednesday, federal investigators say Bickers, who worked in city government from 2010 to 2013, accepted bribes from Elvin “E.R.” Mitchell Jr. and Charles P. Richards Jr. to help their businesses get city contracts.

Bickers has been arraigned on 11 federal charges including conspiring to commit bribery, wire fraud, money laundering, federal obstruction and tax fraud. Bickers was indicted by a federal grand jury on March 27.
